Armin
Cruz is the President, Process Design Consultant in the financial sector at the
Bank of America. In October 31, 2013, Mr. Armin Cruz earned his Master in
Business Administration from University of Phoenix and is also a graduate of
Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Armin
Cruz started his career as the financial sector in the Bank of America
Countrywide Home Loans in May of 2006. Armin began work for Countywide as an
electronic sales telemarking representative and as eTSR he began to learn the
rules and functions of mortgage sales and operations, and acted as an assistant
to a team of mortgage loan officers. In
this capacity, Armin set numerous sales records, and won several sales
blitzes.
Because
of his performance as an eTSR, he was promoted to attend Countrywide’s
Developmental Program. The development program varies in duration, but averages
approximately six months. This program
provides greater details on the full spectrum of loan programs available to
originators, or mortgage loan officers employed by Countrywide Home Loans.
Due
to the peak performance in Sales, Armin was subsequently promoted to Mortgage
loan officer, and eventually to the position of Senior Mortgage Loan
officer/Team Leader. Armin’s quick succession in positions rests upon two
primary causes. First, and foremost is
performance. Breaking milestones, records,
and innovating new and more effective/efficient means to accomplish a goal
proves a marker throughout Armin’s financial career. Second, throughout his
career, Armin has embraced the mentorship mentality of leadership.
As
a Team Leader/Senior Mortgage Loan Officer, Armin developed an innovative way
to drive performance across the team, ultimately leading to the team’s success
and profitability. Armin created a
voluntary mentorship program, meeting bi-weekly. The topics, initially, focused on sales
performance.
Armin
Cruz was promoted to Officer, Banking Center Manager (BCM) for outstanding
performance in the mortgage sales and origination field. As a BCM, Armin Cruz’s challenge was to
integrate cross-functional sales routines, operations management, as well as
drive associate and customer delight.
Armin
Cruz initially co-managed two locations to ensure the mitigation of risk
factors, including a leadership vacuum upon his promotion. Armin assumed a high visibility/market
critical banking center, and continued to co-manage the previous center that he
led to record performance. Armin created
a process to transfer leadership to the newly promoted manager, and instilled a
mentorship program with that manager to ensure a seamless transition. The result of this mentorship proved
immensely successful.
